Samsung S10 Price- For years Samsung has been one of the best when it comes to electronic gadgets, on top of their game, advancing technologically. Speaking of mobile devices, Samsung products are world-class, belief what you’ve heard say, these guys are true legends in the game.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9plus were not much of a success in sale to the Samsung industry. It has shipped 31 million of its S9 series since its launch in March 2018 worldwide making it the lowest sale Samsung phones have recorded after the Galaxy S III. Those figures might seem poor but not when compared to some other top smartphones industries.
Before I go into the main topic of this article, let’s divert a little. The S9 had poor sales, why;
- People predicted the price would drop and waited for it. At first, when it came out there was a high launch price.
- The S9 launch price was $720 but now it’s almost $500. The S9 plus did not do any better. For a device like Samsung, the price and value dropped way too fast.
- There is a lot of competition in the market, Phones like Xiaomi and Huawei are beginning to pick pace.
- 2018 was a bad year for smartphones industry generally, even the iPhones felt it with its X series.
Samsung S10 Price, Features and Release Date
It was released in March, precisely on the 8th, am beginning to think Samsung has a thing or two with March. Came in three editions, Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10e, they all have CPU of Snapdragon 855;
Galaxy S10
Price:$899. This phone comes with 128GB/512GB of memory space with an 8GB RAM
Screen: 6.1- inch Edge AMOLED with a resolution of 3040 x 1440.
Rear Camera; 16-MP ultra wide(f/2.2), 12-MP dual-pixel wide(f/1.5,f/2.4), 12-MP telephoto(f/2.4).
Front Camera; 10-MP dual pixel (f/1.9)
Battery: 3,400mAh.
It comes with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and weighs 5.5 ounces. It comes in different colours including Prism (Black, White, Blue and Green) and also Flamingo Pink.
Galaxy S10e
Price:$749. 128GB/256GB of memory space on a 6GB/8GB RAM.
Screen: 5.8 inch flat AMOLED of 2280×1080 resolution.
Rear Camera: 16-MP ultra wide (f/2.2), 12-MP dual-pixel wide (f/1.5,f/2.4)
Front Camera: 10-MP dual pixel (f/1.9).
Battery: 3,100mAh.
Its fingerprint sensor is at the side, weighs 5.3 ounces and also comes in the same colours as the S10 with an added Canary Yellow colour.
Galaxy S10 Plus
Price:$999. 128GB/512GB or a 1TB of memory space on 8GB/12GB RAM.
Screen: 6.4 inch edge of 3040×1440 resolution.
Rear Camera: 16-MP ultra- wide (f/2.2), 12-MP dual-pixel wide (f/1.5,f/2.4), 12MP telephoto (f/2.4).
Front Camera: 10-MP dual pixel (f/1.9), 8-MP depth-sensing (f/2.2).
Battery: 4,100mAh.
Its fingerprint sensor is an ultrasonic in-display like the S10 but unlike the S10 weighs 6.17 ounces. Comes in all colours the S10 already has and two extra; Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.
These features are just what the best phones of 2020 look like. Although the S10e does not have much when compared to its counterpart, it still shares the Snapdragon 850 CPU processor.
There are still lots of phones to expect from Samsung this year in case the ones above do not meet your taste. The Galaxy S105G promises to be the best with its 5G connectivity, some other features like a 4500 mAh battery. This phone aims to be an improvement on the S10 Plus.
Samsung did say the Galaxy S105G would be out this year but was not exactly specific with the date and price. Technically with the worldwide on-going pandemic, its release date might be delayed. Personally I’d tell you to expect a thousand dollar plus for its price.
