Both apps are designed to meet different kinds of users. For instance, the Facebook lite app is for devices whose processors are slow, and users who do not have a strong internet connection.
Signing Up for Facebook
Follow these easy steps to sign up for Facebook.
- Go to facebook.com and fill in your details into the tab at your right just as inquired.
- A mobile number or email address will be requested by Facebook. Note that whatever information you provide will be part of your login details.
- Immediately you finish, click on sign up.
- Proceed to set up your new Facebook account.
You’ve got an account now, you could try downloading the app, whichever one you want to download, Regular Facebook app or Facebook lite. All you have to do is visit your device app store and type Facebook or Facebook lite in the search bar.
Click on the app and proceed to download it. Once the app finished installing, open it, and log in to your Facebook account.

Forgot your Password
You have two choices. You could either click on the Forgot Password link below the Enter Password tab or visit Facebook’s Find your Account Page.
The “forgot password” link will require you to retrieve a verification link sent to either your email or mobile number registered with Facebook via your account. The Facebook Find Your Account page tests you by asking questions to verify some of your Facebook sign up details and some of your activities on Facebook.
